POSITION SUMMARY:

Support sales team with new sales or existing business with activities that may include, but are not limited to, entry level sales training, enrollment meetings, health fairs, interregional RFAs, sharing or managing a book or business, inside sales, sales proposal development, customer reporting and constituent relations (producers, plan sponsors, customers).

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:Work with all related areas to work RFP’s: -Retrieve RFP’s from all areas (assigned mailboxes and sales reps) -Scrub and request missing information -Submit to underwriting in proper systems -work with sales reps to send out proposals -be able to pull any sales documents in relation to products and programs -understand our products and programs to be able to answer broker/customer requests -submit to have reports run and run other reports in conjunction with RFP’s -work with corporate sales support for additional RFP functions as needed -Run reports to maintain RFP opportunities to update and close out Work with all related areas to support Sold cases: -send out announcements/get assignments for other departmental staff that need to work the installation -update systems -submit RFA’s as necessary -process enrollment packet orders/put together materials needed for enrollment meetings -gather all sold info from sales rep and broker -gather and process any paperwork needed -work the case installation through the systems -interact with all departments involved in the installation to ensure a smooth transition for the client -complete the sale through enrollment, ID card generation and submission of compensation -hand over to account management when all has been completed Other General duties: -help maintain broker records as needed -maintain good relationships with our internal and external customers-able to find and maintain internal contacts to assist with any issues that arise on a number of levels -general research regarding covered physicians, covered medications and covered benefits through several networks available -assist with sales rep comp and expenses as needed -special projects as needed to maintain “housekeeping” for our department

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Up to 5 years industry or customer service experience desired depending on role.

EDUCATION:

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
