Aetna Behavioral Health Sr Sales Executive in St Louis, Missouri

Manage Aetna Behavioral Health and EAP product sales, service and retention efforts for the national accounts market in the Mid-America Region, selling all products to new customers directly and via broker and consultant channels to achieve profitable growth and earnings targets. Meets new sales production and market profitability objectives through aggressive direct marketing or prospecting while building and maintaining productive relationships with brokers and prospects. Works cross functionally, manages resources and fosters collaboration.

Acquire new customers thorough the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan that is aligned with constituent's objectives, while providing profitable growth to Aetna. Yearly quotas must be met and new distribution channels explored. Updates external constituents on Aetna capabilities to create new business opportunities. Identifies emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in industry events. Reaches senior levels within a prospect organization and tailors message to effectively engage senior executives. Engages senior management within Aetna as appropriate. Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments.
Past sales success or very strong account management experience required. Extensive sales experience in EAP/BH and strong knowledge of the marketplace and competitors. Previous experience with managed care and managed care organizations desired. Ability to operate within a heavily matrixed organization. Ability to travel is critical to success. Strong presentation skills required.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
