Sr PM- Scaled Agile Product Owner


We are looking for talented, dedicated and experienced individuals to join the Strategic Service Platform team as Agile Product Owners. This position will be supporting the Guided Personal Service (GPS) program and Contact Center initiatives as we develop a new customer service platform and omni-channel capabilities. By working with IT and our business partners across the enterprise you will participate in and drive delivery of solutions that result in a new experience for customer service that allows them to support the Common Purpose and add value for our members.

Fundamental Components:

The position will be part of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) program, and will be accountable for:

  • Driving project timelines, milestones, documentation, and deliverables for the new service platform including backlog grooming, story writing, demos and seeking guidance on prioritization and bottlenecks

  • Exercising autonomous solid judgment to as key business decision maker for owned work/within assigned scrum team to delivery and design a user experience that meets the strategic vision

  • Consulting with product management team leaders, team members and/or other channel or PMO resources as needed to deliver a consistent and enhanced member experience on the new service platform

  • Collaborating across channels to gain buy-in from constituents/business partners

  • Contributing to on-site release planning to validate commitments/risks/dependencies for scrum teams, and supports read out

  • Participate in production installs by performing checkout, reporting/triaging issues and providing signoff on functionality for their scrum team

  • Taking input from the Product Managers and Experience Leads to drive the design and delivery, ensuring the future vision is infused in the functionality delivered

  • Identifying and raising concerns within scrum team, across other teams/areas with dependencies, and to leadership as needed

  • Supporting day to day application needs including coverage for production issue immediate responses (IRTs) and analysis of tickets, as needed


    Proven track record in managing project deliverables in a fast paced environment, meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

    Proven communication skills both written and verbal

    Experience as an Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) Product Owner

    Experience collaborating across areas/teams to gain consensus/drive towards a common goal

    Familiarity with customer service applications, including ASD and/or IVR preferred


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
