POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager will focus on initiatives that may extend globally to help improve the provider experience. Our entire team will be driving to improve the service experience based on the findings of our CSR's, Supervisors and other employees. The Project manager will drive the projects/initiatives from data to action to results through the use of the DMAIC process, root cause analysis, communication among departments and project timeline management.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:

Provides input and builds on business plan to achieve business goals. Proactively leads assigned project by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work. Solicits and evaluates internal and external customer feedback to enhance the provider experience with Aetna. Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to services and workflows based on broad view of the organization and including the work performed by the vendor partners. Develops recommendations based on complex data and root cause analysis. Builds communication plan for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (up stream/down stream) are informed of next steps for completion. Tracks progress and communicates project status on a regular basis to all impacted parties. Strong use of the Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology for process improvement. Heavy use of Excel, Statistics and charting. May coach or mentor others by providing work direction.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

3-5 years related work experience

Proven track record meeting project dates

Expert knowledge of Excel, Minitab, XL Stats

Proven Project Management and Process Improvement experience

Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, and/or PMP certifications strongly desired

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
