Aetna Workers' Compensation Registered Nurse (RN) Telephonic Case Manager in Rolling Meadows, Illinois

POSITION SUMMARY

The Workers' Compensation Telephonic Case Manager works with the employee, provider, employer, claims examiner, and vendors to coordinate medical care and facilitate timely Return to Work (RTW.)

This position will require travel on-site in downtown Chicago every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and every other Friday. The hours are 8:00am-4:30pm CST.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing in the state of IL required.

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience required.

  • Previous workers compensation case management experience required.

  • Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.

  • Effective communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) preferred, but not required.

  • Utilization review or Managed Care experience preferred.

    Education:

    The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

    Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing in the state of IL required.

  • Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) preferred, but not required.
