The Sr. Data Quality Analyst provides project oversight including initiation, identification and completion of key deliverables to ensure all business objectives are met. With supervision, develops tactical plans to satisfy internal program information needs. Researches, manipulates and prepares complex data to document program activities and reports on its results. Provides oversight to data quality and provides feedback to various areas in order to improve service delivery and enhancement to design efforts.
Provides coaching and mentoring; may be a mentor to others.
Defines, identifies, develops and implements information products to support strategic business and operational planning.
Provides workgroup support on projects.
Analyzes complex data for trends, highlights in-depth interpretations and provides in-depth root cause analysis. Translates complex data into constructive data and information and makes recommendations.
Creates complex queries, does technical report/programming.
Provides analysis of business implications and applies problem solving skills to meet business needs.
Understand nuances of data, checks for reasonability and works to improve data quality.
Systematically shares information on best practices with colleagues.
Actively works with designated Subject Matter Experts to create or update reporting requirements.
Influences enhancements to business processes and system infrastructure to improve data quality availability and access.
Identifies reporting requirements and creates monitoring and control mechanisms.
3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience
4-6 years of SQL server experience
Extensive experience with databases as well as interpretation and manipulation of related data
Healthcare background highly preferred. Knowledge of healthcare industry and integrated delivery systems
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
