POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is based in our Seattle office with possibility of WAH.

Medicare Member Experience is a start-up organization within the Medicare Service Operations department. We are looking for a candidate in the Greater Seattle area Medicare market to serve as a champion and manage the Medicare Member Experience suite of initiatives. This position will focus on implementation and localization of the Member Experience operating plan initiatives. Medicare Regional Retention Specialist will interact with local community groups and local Aetna resources to support the member experience. .

Fundamental Components:

· Accountable for leading select aspects of successful implementation of Member Experience programs at the local level · Includes establishing, influencing and managing internal cross-functional and external client relationships to ensure the effectiveness of program executions· Core Initiatives: o Trends and tracking of CTMs, Appeals, Grievance & Access to Care and establishes interventions/strategies to combat issueso Collaborates with our local customer service team to works and follow-up on local member issues o Collaborates with local customer service team to identify learning and continued education opportunities o Develops local Member Retention materials and member event materials o Plans and collaborates with local sales team on member meetings and Health Fairso Works with Aetna s fitness vendor on Fitness education outreach initiativeso Disenrollment management working toward assigned matrix for retentiono Partners with Medical Management – healthy outcome teamo Collaborates with local sales team on Brand Ambassador program · Supports and manages a number of pilot program opportunities at the local market. · Additional Tools, technology and Resources will be available to support the Member Experience initiatives.· Represent the brand by engaging with members along their healthcare journey· Participate in local community organizations to acquire knowledge and insight regarding the needs of our members· Review all informational material to be distributed to members in concert with Medicare Communication Command Center· Develop and implement outreach strategies to Medicare members as needed· Assist in quality assurance of annual Medicare Bid material· Assist Director of Operations in various tasks related to Bid and market strategies

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

2-5 years industry or customer service experience.

Multi-functional experience, e.g., underwriting

Demonstrated strategic & critical thinking skills as well as roll up your sleeves action

Good communication skills including written, verbal & presentation

Ability to work independently, honor commitments and collaborate with team members to create a remarkable member experience Ability to influence diverse teams & build strong relationships.

Life & Health License preferred

EDUCATION:

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
