Job Description

Corporate position on Aetna s Value Based Solutions team to work directly with providers on quality improvement and value-based care for Aetna s Medicare Advantage members.

Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:

Provides business support to the VBS team by working directly with provider groups on improving quality of care and health outcomes for Aetna s Medicare Advantage members.

Is responsible for managing provider relationships, including leading performance improvement discussions, acting as an expert on Aetna s value-based programs and agreements, and preparing and presenting on individual provider performance. Will work with a cross disciplinary team with other Aetna business units including the HEDIS team and the clinical team to provide performance insights to provider groups, identifying gaps, opportunities, and meaningful action to be taken. Will troubleshoot provider specific implementation, reporting, payment, and other issues as needed.

Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:

Desired: Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem resolution and interpersonal skills.

Track record of effectively leading projects from inception to completion as well as ability to work and collaborate as a team member. Experience with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:Experience in provider practice interactions and ability to discuss quality improvement, financial performance and practice workflow best practices. Understanding of value based contracts and creating mutually beneficial value propositions between the patient, provider and payor.
