Analytics development and consultative support of value-based programs. This includes standard monthly and quarterly reports as well as ad hoc analyses and development.
Use your Finance and Analytics skills to transform the healthcare system. This position is part of the Mercy Care Value-Based Solutions team and provides critical support to our Value-Based partners. In this role, you will:
Be a subject matter expert in provider performance measurement, including financial analysis
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for system and process improvement for our provider partners on behalf of our members
Execute regular reports in support of current and new provider performance agreements
Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics (including HEDIS), systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subject areas.
Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
Health care analysis, health economics, and Finance experience.
Strong leadership experience, collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Advanced SQL programming abilities in data warehouse or big data analytics environment, including business intelligence application development.
Strong reporting skills using Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of the structure of provider data and how to attach members to providers using multiple attribution approaches.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
