The Sr. Systems Engineer will provide infrastructure consulting services to help align our subsidiary business software delivery processes to infrastructure requirements. Align IT software development life cycle needs (SDLC) to infrastructure hardware, software, and resource dependencies. Develop processes and methodologies to ensure cadence and synchronicity with development and other enterprise IT partners.

Fundamental Components:

  • Minimum of 10+ years in end to end infrastructure architecture planning and software build, configuration and deployment experience fast paced environment

  • Experience with infrastructure planning for web applications and services on Linux (Java) & Windows (.NET) servers, a plus

  • Experience managing application dependencies, across cross-functional teams in a hybrid platform that involves commercial healthcare software

  • Experience with configuration management, deployment automation systems and concepts (Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, TFS, SVN, etc)

  • Understanding of scaled agile and lean principles, framework, and methodologies such as SAFe 4.5, DevOps, and Kanban, a must

  • Hands-on working experience with implementing configuration, build, deployment and release management best practices

  • Great communications skills, and ability to educate others on agile and lean concepts

  • Healthcare IT experience a plus


  • Strong technical leadership and technology collaboration and consensus building exp.

  • Ability to assess the existing ecosystem, provide visibility, understand pain areas, constraints, prioritize and lead changes to structures, mindsets, roles, processes and the software delivery chain in support of arising business needs

  • Ability to architect for simplicity, scale, and agility & ability to multi-task

  • Assist with the adoption of self-service infrastructure concept, in a distributed agile delivery team for all non-prod and non-QA build and deployments (enable development tools & access control to succeed with the highest confidence in our build and deployment process into the agile environments while satisfying security, scalability, and compliance)

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and ability to work with geographically dispersed technical teams including remote resources across the US and Off-shore


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
