POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee finance functions (reporting, planning and analysis) for aligned market(s); collaborate with market leadership to develop and execute short and long-term goals. Provide strategic direction and support for Medicaid segment performance management processes.

Fundamental Components:

This position will oversee the finance operations for aligned market(s). Accountabilities include oversight of financials, management of expenses and analysis of performance and trends. It will work with the market leadership team to drive profitable growth, effective provider partnerships and innovation. This position will work closely with segment finance and operations to improve management processes, implement action plans and respond to performance variances. Offer strategic direction with an eye toward improving consistency and enhancing governance. Partner to enhance key performance metrics and benchmark externally.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

*15+ years financial planning and analysis experience, including strategic initiatives.

*10+ years managed care experience

*Project Management experience required

*Strategic goal setting for short and long-term business functions

*Deep understanding of business drivers, both medical and operational

*Understanding of government programs, particularly Medicaid

*Strong communication skills, tailored for the audience

*Ability to quickly analyze and problem solve as part of a team

*Develop talent and create a positive culture

EDUCATION

*Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or similar disciplines required.

*Advanced degree in business and/or FSA/CPA desired
