POSITION SUMMARY

Manage a complex book of business of National Account customers. Develops service strategy to ensure renewal and growth of business and retention of members for assigned accounts.

Fundamental Components:

Develops and manages service plans in the most proactive and strategic manner possible and finds new and innovative ways to show customers the value of the products and services they have purchased

Creates collaborative partnerships with customers and other key constituents to develop a comprehensive retention and growth strategy for assigned book of business that is aligned with customers objectives, financial position and employee benefits strategy

Executes tactical components of the account teams business plan for each customer

Proactively identifies potential service issues and takes steps to resolve those service issues that arise

May mentor account managers

Takes the lead on installation of all new products/programs, Open Enrollment activities with full responsibility for ensuring flawless execution

Educates customers on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5+ years Customer Management or Customer Installation

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
