Directs the managers of multiple analytics teams focused on different topics. Applies experience from strategy consulting, analytics, and data engineering to successfully direct the development of statistical and mathematical analyses to support business decision making for multiple business functions. Directs the design and implementation of multiple and/or complex statistical analysis projects and participates with business functions in setting high level business objectives for projects. Seen as a thought leader and strategy partner.
Manages analytics for two or more product distinct areas with multiple teams.
Directs the resolution of highly complex and strategic business problems.
Works with senior leaders to identify opportunities to implement analytics solutions to business problems.
Collaborates with business partners to understand their strategy, problems, and goals.
Plans for future years in terms of strategy and operations.
Thinks about their vertical and how it fits across the analytics organization.
Leads development of solutions with high complexity and risk with business area implications.
Provides leadership and direction through multiple manager.
Sets priorities and executes strategy for the analytics organization.
Minimum 12 years total business experience
6+ years experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies
6+ years experience leading teams that are programming using R, Hadoop, or Python
6+ years of business experience leading projects and initiatives with track record of business impact.
6+ years of people management experience
Healthcare sector experience preferred
Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree.
