An opportunity to work with a high focus/high growth marketing team supporting the enterprise. You will get to work and partner with business, marketing, agencies and other digital marketing teams to expand your horizons.
The e-mail Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing business initiated projects as well as representing the email team on IT initiatives with digital needs.
Responsible for email campaign execution including segmentation, design and reporting. They will be using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to deliver email marketing campaigns.
Performing day-to-day email marketing operations including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, segmentation, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of email campaigns.
Working closely with Aetnas in house digital designers in maintaining and updating email template/design consistency across the board.
Partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful campaign execution including reporting/analysis, brand/business leaders.
Analyzing the data from email marketing programs to develop internal best practices for Aetna by proactively researching email engagement statistics.
Audience / List segmentation and contact management using SQL.
Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and reducing execution complexity.
Managing the digital engagement role for Journeys.
Project planning for execution of digital campaigns.
Representing the Digital Communication team on project calls and be able to clearly articulate project needs to the team for execution.
At least 3 years of Email marketing operations experience
Salesforce marketing cloud/exact target experience
Good working knowledge of HTML and design principles
Database management/SQL experience
Project Management skills
Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines
Working knowledge of email best practices including targeted lists, subject lines, messaging and deliverability
Strong quantitative skills and desire to make data-driven decisions
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
