POSITION SUMMARY

Experienced candidates will be accountable for Product Management & Implementation following SAFe execution methodologies. Candidates will have responsibility for setting the Care/Case Management product roadmap and oversight for technology enablement post design/definition sprint activities preparing the clinical platform for migration activities.

Fundamental Components:

Maintain mastery-level understanding of Aetna/Clinical CM/UM workflows/processes, as well as area vision/strategy.

Direct and/or convert product strategy into high level product roadmap

Solve customer needs, create robust high-level business requirements, and deliver on product vision/strategy taking into account linkages between systems, technical/systems implications, and anticipating changes/resolving barriers. R

Responsibilities include directing and overseeing cross-functional, project plan (EPIC's/Features), biz case execution, and alignment/synergies, conducting process improvement, and serving as technical enablement SME for business on special projects.

Articulate product and technical strategy to key business partners during product development and requirement sessions. Ensure traceability to EPIC's/Features alignment with product vision. Represent product implementation with Senior management.

Elevate risks, communicate dependencies, and recommend alternative solutions in timely manner that allows for mitigation and/or strategic reaction.

Work effectively across business areas by building and leveraging strong relationships.

Identify and mobilize cross-functional support required to achieve business objectives, including areas of tactical and strategic support.

Through the use of Agile Central/Rally -- understand capacity, create PI Objectives/Sprint Plans -- Track & Measure success

Oversee the management of and/or manage multiple competing products/projects with effective prioritization and eye for detail.

Take full accountability for end result, serve as product expert, and leverage all resources available to achieve objectives.

Will manage, coach and mentor staff.

Recruit and select well-qualified, diverse and talented management staff.

Maintain environment and reward system that encourages initiative, learning and empowerment.

Identify long term needs of the organization and establish succession plans for key personnel.

Articulate performance expectations and team objectives while collecting and interpreting balanced measures to evaluate team performance

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

10+ years related cross-functional, project management experience.

Understanding of clinical workflows/processes is a plus

Key skills are strategic thinking, communicating for impact, collaboration, and driving for results. Requires ability to be innovative and resourceful in developing solutions. Must have and impart a sense of urgency with key business partners

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
