Outreach coordinates member outreach to ensure effective use of the health plan benefits ad to improve member health outcomes within the Medicaid population. The successful candidate is required to reside close in or in close proximity to Kentucky Medicaid Region #6- Covington, KY, Florence, KY and Newport, KY. Reside in Boone, Kenton, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton, Campbell or one of the neighboring counties.

Fundamental Components:

Identifies potential resources and initiates collaboration with providers and community partners to improve member health outcomes.

Identifies partnership opportunities with community organizations to participate and/or facilitate special events, presentations or other events to heighten awareness of the health plans benefits and services.

Develops educational/ outreach materials including but not limited to incentive documents, call scripts, event flyers, social media, text, etc.

Investigate and respond to member inquiries in person, via telephone and in writing as applicable.

Identifies when to refer/ connect a member with various other departments of the health plan.

Perform other related duties as required.


Minimum of three years recent and related outreach experience working with providers or members, and/or government program managed care product experience

Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment such as a call center or retail location preferred.

Recent and related experience working with HEDIS criteria

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
