Manage sales and, if appropriate, retention efforts for assigned business or customer segments, products and geographies.
Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:
Establishes specific goals for assigned areas of responsibility in line with strategic objectives. Builds successful relationships with constituents. Provides input to provider and network development areas to ensure competitive products and services. Develops, executes and communicates a comprehensive strategies aligned with customers’ objectives, financial position and employee benefits strategies. As appropriate, responsible for recruiting, training and developing staff. Works effectively cross-functionally internally to complete sales, installation, servicing and product development activities as appropriate. Oversees communication and planning among key stakeholders that ultimately results in the delivery of a successful finalist presentation. Monitors industry information and competitive environment of the marketplace to position Aetna’s strength accordingly. Educates constituents on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics and expects the same of team members. Manages complex negotiations. Positions products, rate levels and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue.
This position will be associated with Carefree Insurance Services.
Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:
1-2 years sales management experience for supervisory positions.
5-10+ years sales experience, preferably within the industry. Bachelor's Degree RequiredApplicable state license to sell products. Candidates must have a Florida 2-40 or 2-15 license
Medicare Sales experience is a must
Candidate will need to be able to recruit brokers
Candidate will need to establish and maintain relationships with external partners.
Leadership experience in sales and marketing
Experience building strong relationships is a must
