POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for leading all aspects of a program/project, from planning to execution including financial implications and technology needs while prioritizing work, resources and time. Ensures the end state of the program/project meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Works within a highly collaborative process which often requires managing relationships across multiple business areas.

Fundamental Components:

Strong influencing skills to ensure all stake holders are engaged and actively focused on key program/project milestones to ensure positive outcomes that deliver on results, on time.

Drives change to achieve program/project results and/or systems/quality/services (e.g., policies, processes or systems).

Identifies gaps in processes and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions.

Has ultimate accountability for project management tasks (including planning, project governance, implementation and risk mitigation planning.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.

Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and driving change resulting in positive outcomes.

Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs across the end to end business process.

Experience with PMO functions (planning, governance, issues resolution)

Project management experience.

Supervisory experience.

Demonstrated negotiation skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
