POSITION SUMMARY

This position will support tools used on an enterprise wide basis for the sales organization. This includes contributing to system development life cycle and consulting with end users to evaluate business requirements and create solutions.

Fundamental Components:

Evaluate business requirements and prepare functional, technical and quality specifications for department Web programming initiatives. - Perform data analysis to define business rules using in-depth knowledge of databases and healthcare data. - Work together with business contacts, systems analysts, developers and project management groups.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

6+ years experience in application development or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Expertise with C#, .Net and javascript, Sql Server and DB2 databases and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization.

4-6+ years experience in systems analysis and application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience with application development support software packages.

Understand the business and functional requirements that apply to the applications supporting a sub-domain or domain as well as their relevant interfaces.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
