The job responsibilities for this role include providing actuarial analysis and modeling support of new and renewal pricing for Aetna's large group Medicare Advantage business. This position collaborates with the Underwriting team to provide complex financial analysis and projections for new and renewing clients.

Fundamental Components:

Specific job responsibilities include:

-Customer specific financial modeling

-Manual rate setting

-Pricing tool support

-Special Studies

-Providing analysis on customer adhoc requests


Bachelor's degree along with 2-3 years related experience

Must have passed 4+ actuarial exams and looking to get your ASA

Strong communication skills

Any prior Medicare Advantage or Underwriting experience is helpful

Strong technical skills including PowerPoint, Excel & Access is required

Strategic thinking and innovation skills are highly desired


Functional - Actuarial/Modeling & tool development/1-3 Years

Functional - Actuarial/Pricing: manual rate structure development/1-3 Years


Technical - Aetna Applications/Managed Care Monitor/1-3 Years/End User
