Aetna Senior Proposal Analyst in Hartford, Connecticut

Support the growth of our Specialty business by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposal responses for Student Health.

Fundamental Components:

The Senior Proposal Analyst has overall accountability for end to end project management of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process including completion of proposal questionnaires using established tools and a network of subject matter experts. This requires detailed analysis of each RFP request and collaborating on strategy with sales and underwriting teams to customize the entire proposal response based on case specific quotation strategy and customer priorities. This individual is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of the RFP response. Responsibilities also involve proposal follow-up and revision based on ongoing negotiations, working directly with sales personnel to resolve issues; and acting as a sales resource for product and process questions. This individual must be able to effectively multi-task, think analytically, manage his or her workload in a fast paced, changing environment, work collaboratively with others and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
