Aetna Medicare is hiring a Medicare Senior Informatics Consultant/Lead to support our Medicare Sales Reporting and Analytics Team.
We are willing to consider candidates based on your location, office based, or work from home. There is a preference for candidates within commuting distance of Hartford, CT.
This role will lead projects, processes and develop new innovative solutions for reporting delivery specific to our Medicare Sales organization. This is a key role to develop and deliver decision support tools, reporting applications, insights and business intelligence based on advanced analysis and analytics. The group this position is a part of runs all of the sales reporting for Medicare Sales. These activities require advanced technical, analytical and consultative skills, extensive knowledge of data and information systems.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sourcesSales reporting and analyticsStrong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPointSQL, SAS and/ or DB2 skillsTableau strongly preferredHealth insurance industry experience preferredEDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
