Promote organizational transformation by providing consultative services within Procurement and across business functions to support awareness, create change, and lead system integrations/implementations which are imperative to achieving a high performance organization.
Lead the efforts to strengthen the use of data for research, management, and planning by providing database development, analysis and reporting related to Procurement.
Partner with supplier diversity leadership and collaborate with business areas on integrating best-in-class practices through the use of benchmarking and data/analytics.
Lead system(s) implementations acting as a senior analyst and project manager partnering with teams to build/configure best-in-class Procurement systems for the enterprise (*)
Work with leadership to develop storyboards used to communicate trends and influence change using data (*)
Identify areas of potential improvement in the customer experience; develop business processes and training documentation to streamline operations and increase productivity (*)
Provide reporting, analytical, and benchmark support to a world class Supplier Diversity program that helps achieve a sustainable competitive advantage by increasing purchasing and business relationships with certified minority, women, LGBT and small business (*)
Support Supplier Diversity Manager in major programs or events throughout the year, especially for the NMSDC, WBENC, WPEO and NGLCC national organizations (*)
Use strategic Supply Management and Business Intelligence systems for day-to-day activities (research, report building, data import/exports) (*)
Support scheduled and ad-hoc data requests; Present information/analytics to customers in a consultative manner (*)
5+ years of significant accounting, finance, and/or experience working with statistics. Healthcare industry experience a plus.
Strong ability to communicate and interact with cross-functional teams and business partners; Technical aptitude and the understanding of how systems and databases work
Previous experience with SQL, Visual Basic, macros, and business intelligence tools (Cognos, Tableau, Crystal, etc.) preferred, or the ability to learn through independent research and training
Advanced with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Primary Systems utilized: Cognos, Tableau, Ariba, Emptoris, Seal, EMA, MS SharePoint
Strong team player with effective communication skills, both verbal and written; and the interpersonal skills necessary to interface at all levels of the organization, resulting in the ability to collaborate, influence others and build lasting business partnerships
Strong grasp on business technology with an overall technical aptitude
Project management and implementation skills
Strong presentation, persuasion, and facilitation skills
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
