Supports the development and administration of QuickBase (QB) applications to support Medical Policy & Program Solutions (MPPS) workflows and business functions. Support focuses on the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of each application. A key function of the role is understanding the programming approach to ensure that enhancements do not hinder or detract from other database functions or activities. This also includes ensuring the proper level of access is given based on privacy guidelines. Exhibits very strong technical and leadership skills.
Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:
Manages the day-to-day functions of the QB applications, including but not limited to design/development, testing, maintaining access, creating reports & dashboard presentations
Stays appraised of changes associated with QB
Assists in monitoring QB capacity and performance of QB applications to ensure reliability, efficient, and provide the required functionality
Provides input during the development of new functions impacting new or existing QB applications.
Able to translate processes into a new/existing application
Ensures data made available meets privacy guidelines
Collaborates with others to help improve their efficiencies using established QB applications
Ensures that appropriate database standards and practices are followed.
Identifies and resolves issues which may impact project results
Participates in vendor application software evaluation, installation, and proof of concept activities.
Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:
Must have QuickBase administration and/or development experience.
2- or 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
