Based in either: Hartford, CT or Blue Bell, PA locations with potential for work at home.


The successful candidate will provide business support for the rollout of Middle Market Off The Shelf (OTS) plans, integration of AQC product and benefit configuration assets into CPQ, and translating sold benefit information from PBoR and AQC product structure into PERS product structure in support of auto-installation. Other areas of support include Product Engineering initiatives in Aetna's Sales/Rating/Quoting applications. This job involves interaction within Product Engineering, Product, Plan Sponsor Services, IT Application Development, Underwriting, Regional Actuarial and other areas for purposes of defining and supporting Products, Plans and Benefits in Aetna's large group quotation systems. Employee will be required to work in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.

Fundamental Components:

Ensures data entered in our systems complies with Federal and State legislation, Aetna Product standards, and other parameters defined by our business and technical partners. -Maintains open communication among project participants and affected parties. -Demonstrates independent thinking, initiative, and a thorough understanding of Aetna's systems and processes. -Anticipates and resolves issues proactively. -Ensures quality while also meeting agreed upon deadlines -Ability to understand and work with complex benefit information and to tailor communications to various audiences. -Ability to follow stated internal procedures, conduct research and obtain clarification of information in order to ensure that all decisions made take into account expected outcome and the effect decisions and actions have on other upstream and downstream processes.


6+ years of related industry experience.

Familiarity with the new business and renewal business Sales/Underwriting and Case Installation processes. Detailed product and benefit experience/knowledge. Knowledge and direct experience with Aetna quoting applications (AQC, CCFE) and PERS/BPLVs is preferred.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
