This role s primary responsibilities will be within Aetna Digital, which has a mandate to build a market-leading integrated consumer experience to revolutionize health and wellness, transformative technology and design principles.

  • Product Marketing translates what our products do for our customers into relevant value propositions that compel them to act.

  • We facilitate the connections between LOB leaders, market intelligence, analytics, product development, sales, brand strategists and the Agency so our efforts are choreographed for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

  • We are particularly focused on integrating the experience so that all products are seamlessly wrapped around the customer in a relevant and personalized way such that our brand promise shines through.

  • You will be responsible for building and executing strategic marketing plans around the authenticated Aetna member digital experience.

Fundamental Components:

  • Develop clear and memorable value propositions for each audience we market to. In particular, we demonstrate how the value multiple products is greater than the sum of its parts, e.g., Medical is better with Pharma included

  • Serve as a catalyst for change within the business by bringing an outside-in perspective to the business through customer, competitor, and marketplace insights- Develop content that helps Sales nurture relationships throughout the sales and relationship cycle

  • Build out and execute member and provider engagement strategy

  • Oversee the execution of in-market programs to ensure they are strategically sound and coordinated

  • Advocate for the member during product development

  • Value proposition: Galvanize a common understanding of the core value proposition of each product across the organization so that we walk and work as one. We do this by articulating the value proposition for each core audience, e.g., member, plan sponsor, consultant/broker, doctors, etc. in plain language

  • Develop market facing pitch experience: Work with sales teams to develop the baseline pitch decks, demos, journeys, etc. from which customized presentations can be created. Ensure individual pieces add up to a whole greater than the sum of its parts. Minimize fragmentation

  • Develop content that helps Sales nurture prospect relationships throughout the sales cycle, e.g., thought leadership, cases, testimonials, etc. This includes developing an integrated mobile content tool for Sales to quickly identify and access content

  • Member advocacy and journey-centric design: Bring the voice of the customer to the product design table

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience preferably in a B2B or B2B2C setting

  • Cross channel marketing experience

  • Experience with highly regulated industry beneficial

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
