Aetna s internship experience is known as the Summer Associate Program and is a nationally recognized experience. The Information Technology Summer Associate Program serves as the pipeline for our Information Technology Leadership Development Program a full-time, two-year rotational program.

What are the goalsThe program doesn t just help you develop technical skills; it accelerates your development. You ll get a well-rounded experience and exposure to life in IT Analytics at one of the nation s leading healthcare companies while honing your leadership skills. What you will doOur positions will immerse you in the IT Analytics department with real work experience on essential projects using innovative technology. · Be a part of our team that s engaged in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working closely with subject matter experts and colleagues· Lead and assist with data analytics focused on improving the digital experience for Aetna s employees· Work with a team of engineers and data professionals to explore and leverage data from Digital Workplace related systems, with the goal of identifying opportunities to improve business productivity and employee experience· Be provided networking opportunities within and outside of the IT Analytics organization as well as career development in everything from technical skills to public speaking What you need· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (Python, Tableau, SAS, etc.)· Effective communications skills· Strong desire for leadership development· Familiarity with IT concepts and methodologies · Experience influencing others for positive change

You are eligible if you· Are currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree (Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, or other relevant majors preferred)· Have a 3.3+ major GPA (preferred)· Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2019 – June 2020 · Have a willingness to relocate
