Aetna Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Consultant in Hartford, Connecticut

This position directly supports the FP&A for the Vertical businesses, including Healthcare and Private Equity Verticals. The role will create and analyze membership and pipeline reports to support decision-making processes and provide insight that helps our business partners, our plan sponsors, and Aetna achieve financial goals.
Develop monthly membership and strategic pipeline materials for Vertical businesses, including ad hoc analyses of future outlooks
Support messaging of results and strategic actions to business owners
Financial Planning & Analysis
Provide analysis, reporting, and commentary to support the quarterly Forecast Cycle and annual Plan Cycle
Ensure appropriate connections between underwriting, local markets and planning/forecastin
Lead expense performance management and analytical analysis for Monthly Reporting
Coordinate monthly management reporting processes with Vertical business owners and local market CFOs
Perform ad hoc analyses of fees and operating expenses
Lead/deliver special projects and requests to facilitate better understanding of our business performance at the Executive level of the organization
-Ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor who is ambitious to develop FP&A skills, business partnerships and leadership skills.
-2-4 years accounting/finance related experience, healthcare a plus
-strong collaboration and communication skills within a team environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
