POSITION SUMMARY

This is an opportunity to be part of the exciting enterprise digital transformation initiative to shape the future of Aetna and Healthcare itself by joining a fast-paced and innovation team of thinkers and engineers as they reshape Aetna's Digital landscape in order to deliver best-in-class consumer solutions to our members.

The Business Analyst helps businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to their scrum team, stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

Fundamental Components:

Ability to work in an ambiguous, start-up type environment, partnering with Architecture and Product Owner in story writing and formulating acceptance criteria

Assists in backlog grooming sessions

Supports developers and ETQA in understanding business needs.

Supports UAT testers

Assists with creating user stories and tasks and with story validation.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

3+ years Business Analyst experience. Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools. Ability to successfully interact with members, medical professionals and health plan and government representatives. Understands key principles of story writing (e.g. answering the who, what, why)

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
