POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Program Senior Project Manager (Joint Venture Client Manager) will provide support during Business Development negotiations and will serve as the implementation and on-going operational lead for sold transactions. The Client Manager will partner with internal and external teams to proactively identify and address critical implementation/operational issues in order to ensure successful performance throughout the life of the contract.

Fundamental Components:

During Business Development process, evaluates key contractual terms and, through a due diligence process, determines how to achieve operational success working with internal and external partners

Participates in partner working sessions

Understands detailed operational requirements and ensures contractual terms are achievable

Manages operational sign off process across all functional areas

Acts as the implementation and on-going project lead for sold Joint Venture transactions

Responsible for ensuring the terms of the MRA/MSA are operationalized

Facilitates function and cross functional workgroups and establishes appropriate accountability

Ensures regulatory requirements are met

Establishes timelines and deliverables

Actively reports and resolves issues; removes barriers to successful implementation/operations

Collaborates with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure successful implementation/operations of Joint Venture deals

Manages partner expectations, anticipating possible issues and communicating turnaround times with reasonable delivery dates

Works with the technology lead(s) to support technology prioritization and delivery to ensure adequate infrastructure to support Joint Venture requirements

Ensures flexible, re-usable approach for future Joint Venture implementation/operations by developing and maintaining a standard project plan

Develops playbooks, toolkits and additional resources to facilitate the implementation of future Joint Ventures

Continuously refines and improves efficiency of the implementation process

Conducts analysis to support the creation of executive and steering committee presentations

Provides accurate, timely and insightful analysis in response to ad hoc requests

Recognized as an expert or thought leader within the company

Impacts segment, region, or function results, anticipating business and/or regulatory issues and influencing internal practices

Anticipates and solves highly complex problems with broad impact on the business area

Leads projects with notable complexity and risk with business area implications

Requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies and serves as thought leader

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

8+ years of hospital system and/or health insurance industry experience, ACO / managed-care experience preferred

8+ years of client management

5+ years of project management experience in a health plan, health system or provider organization

Proven ability to interact with, influence and collaborate with clients at all levels

Experience managing matrixed staff with ability to leverage non-directs to complete tasks.

Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.

Knowledge of healthcare and insurance industry.

Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to form strong client relationships.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Telework Specifications:

Preferred location is Dallas/Forth Worth, TX.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

10+ years of experience overall and 5+ years of hospital system and/or health insurance industry experience; deep knowledge of the health care industry

Previous implementation or project management experience preferred

Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple assignments
