Senior Architect (Farnborough, Hampshire) Aetna is seeking a proven technical leader as Digital Solution Architect for Aetna International, leading projects involving Digital Transformation, Cloud-based and hybrid solutions and API centric integration.Job Description: You will provide technical leadership on a variety of projects and programs. Your responsibilities include: • Turning technology transformation strategy into action in the form of solution and integration designs • Being an ambassador for partnership with IT delivery and business stakeholders • Provide leadership and direction to technical architects and other technical professionals What's needed? • A diverse technical background with key areas of depth around digital transformation, hybrid solutions and operating at scale. • You are an effective communicator and collaborator, who can apply outcome-based leadership across teams and organizations. • You are flexible and creative with the ability to propose innovative ideas and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve the positive outcomes. • You have experience with Iterative & Incremental development approaches such as Agile/Scrum Background/Experience desired: Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Architect - architecting large scale federated systems Experience with architectural abstractions and design patterns. 3 years of experience with digital application design and development, and integrating enterprise business systems International Healthcare background or experience is preferred Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics platform is strongly desired Experience with mobile platforms, web applications, middleware/services/APIs, business process managementEducation:Additional Candidate InformationAetna is about more than just doing a job.
