This is a hugely exciting newly created role with an opportunity to influence and postively impact the growth of Aetna International. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Europe for Aetna International, the Marketing Business Partner will help shape and execute regional/local marketing strategies for all lines of business including: individual, group, entry into new markets, government and country population health solutions. Essential to the success of Aetna International is the eagerness to collaborate not only with global Sales, Product, Legal, etc. colleagues but also with the central marketing function and other members of the EMEA regional marketing team. Any local market knowledge should be shared with all other marketing areas to help build the team s broader perspective and insights for all marketing activities. Responsibilities of the Role • Assist the Head of Marketing, Europe in developing the regional marketing plan and associated KPIs.• Liaise with the Distribution management teams to understand business objectives and make recommendations as to how marketing can support the achievement of business objectives.• Consults with customer(s), including Senior Management, on marketing/communications initiatives critical to the region s success which requires considerable working knowledge of the business.• Projects or forecasts future internal or external needs, which involves latitude for decision-making and priority setting.• Develop and measure fully integrated marketing initiatives.• Manage and accountable for campaign execution across UK and Europe that demonstrates positive ROI.• Project manage events and sponsorship activities, using various media channels to maximise pre and post event awareness.• Work closely with the central and other regional marketing teams to ensure best practice is shared.• Lead the delivery of campaign and communications plans for each initiative.• Monitoring and track key performance measures to constantly improve marketing effectiveness • Leverage and obtain insight so that we can better understand the needs of our customers.• Ensure alignment and cohesiveness of all activity to brand positioning and guidelines.• Making recommendations for activity and budgets.• Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.• Is assigned long-range projects and reviewed through achievement of objectives according to pre-defined goals. Background/Experience Desired• Requires advanced knowledge and specialized expertise in marketing. Sector experience an advantage but not essential• Experienced marketing professional Education and Certification Requirements• Fluent in English and French• Bachelor's degree• Expertise in marketing • Good working knowledge of German or Italian an advantage
