Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available to join ourIT Operations team as a Senior Project Manager. We are looking for the righttalent to work on a variety of Projects and Programmes within ITOperations. You will be required to workclosely with PMs and staff in other DevOps teams, Development, Infrastructureand Production Support to deliver projects, joint programmes and portfolios.

Responsibilitiesof the role

  • Manage all PM activities and can mentor others in a PMrole, using AIS standards

  • Undertake complex IT Projects and Programmes and fullyunderstand the challenges in a global arena

  • To work efficiently and effectively with Teams in otherareas of DevOps and the wider business

  • Provide accurate metrics for all project relatedactivities and work on Continuous Improvement Projects in any area of thebusiness

  • Maintain all Project-related qualifications and delivertraining in project methodologies, including Project status presentations tosenior management

  • Work efficiently with Aetna Enterprise to executeprojects and manage combined work flows and governance

  • Manage all steps necessary to improve the customerexperience worldwide


  • Educated to Honours Degree Level

  • A Project Management qualification, PRINCE2 or PMP

  • An ITIL qualification, or working towards

  • MS qualification, or working towards

  • Training in Lean Six Sigma


  • Knowledge of Agile IT Software development and ProductionSupport

  • Detailed knowledge of all Project and Programme Managementactivities

  • Knowledge of Customer Improvement Programmes and Lean SixSigma projects

    Experience desired

  • Minimally 5 years in Project Management

  • Has delivered at least three projects from inception to completion

  • Has delivered projects internationally

  • Has experience of the Agile Software Development Life cycle

  • Experience of Customer ProductionSupport

  • A detailed knowledge of the use of the Service Now tool

  • Knowledge of Production Support tools

  • Has worked with teams (including offshore) anothergeographies

  • Knowledge of Data control and GPDR
