POSITION SUMMARY

The Actuarial Consultant will be a part of Government Services' Actuarial Department which maintains Aetna's Medicare Part D models as well as Employer Group Waiver Plan pricing support. The incumbent's responsibilities will include support of pricing models, Pricing of EGWP products and collaborating across various departments.

Fundamental Components:

. Advanced Knowledge of SAS/SQL

. Advanced Knowledge of Excel and VBA

. Ability to collaborate across various internal departments

. Ability to translate business logic in actuarial models

. Ability to communicate technical knowledge to a non-expertise community

. Medicare Part D/Pharmacy Experience is desired

. Ability to work well with a team

. Strong Analytical Skills

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelor's degree along w/1+ year(s) work experience.

Advanced SAS skillset

Advanced Knowledge of Excel and VBA

Ability to collaborate across various internal departments

Actuarial exams passed is helpful in this role

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Functional - Actuarial/Modeling & tool development/1-3 Years

Telework Specifications:

Flexible telework / office-based schedule (must live near certain office location)

Full-Time Telework (WAH)
