POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, drafts, reviews, and edits plan certificates and benefit contracts. Provides basic benefit plan consulting services, and coordinates the accurate and timely completion of all required benefit plan documentation.

Fundamental Components:

Prepares, reviews and/or edits employer certificates, contracts and employee booklets according to pre-determined standards; ensures benefits are mapped accordingly and drafts all legislatively mandated booklets requested by plan sponsors. (*)

Performs all document maintenance duties including

Interprets and utilizes available resources in responding to both standard and non-standard benefit drafting requests; when appropriate, prepares language modifications to comply with regulatory requirements. (*)

Has responsibility for securing all required signatures and determining which documents are necessary for plan benefit plan execution; adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines in securing benefit plan information. (*)

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Experience producing electronic documents.

Experience supporting custom products and/or services.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
