POSITION SUMMARY

This position is dedicated to a large plan sponsor with membership in 49 states. Position will require account management and business retention for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives, developing strong external and internal relationships to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, membership retention and growth.

Fundamental Components:

Fundamental Components and Physical requirements include but are not limited to *Develops a mutually rewarding working relationship with various client contacts to ensure renewal of case and retention. *Follows through on outstanding issues to the point of resolution (e.g. claims and administration issues). *Offers creative product and service solutions to address clients evolving needs. *Monitors on an on-going basis client's product lines and services to ensure clients needs are being met. * Executes tactical components of the account teams business plan for each customer. *Collaborates with account team members and functional support areas on more complex product or service issues to ensure clients needs are met. * Collaborates cross functionally to identify, implement and monitor the customers service efficiencies, including performance guarantees. *Develops a mutually rewarding working relationship with various client contacts to ensure renewal of case and retention *attends member/customer attended events and meetings as required.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

3-5 years industry or Account Management experience. *Multi-functional experience , e.g. underwriting; sales support *College Degree or equivalent work experience. *Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). *Strong organizational skills.Insurance license, as required by state law

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
