Position Summary· Implement the resiliency strategies, framework, exercises, plans, lessons learned and process improvement to promote risk protection for emergency response, crisis management and business continuity · Supports the maintenance of the enterprise resiliency policies and standards supporting a global, all-hazards, risk based approach· Ensures recovery policies, plans, and resiliency framework are in compliance with leading industry practices and Aetna standards· Performs ongoing Business Impact Analysis, site risk assessments, supplier assessments, plan quality reviews, exercises, emergency response, crisis management, and lessons learned processes· Ensures resiliency strategies support enterprise risk tolerance and line of business resiliency requirements Job Responsibilities:· Provides support of the development, communication, maintenance, exercising, invocation, and lessons learned of Aetna s Incident Management, Business Resiliency, and Crisis Management Plans · Supports industry benchmarking and process improvements; conducts annual maturity assessment to ensure resiliency framework are successfully achieving process maturity goals· Coordinates Business Impact Risk Analysis with business process owners including facilitation of business process architectures, impact ratings determination, and resiliency requirements identification· Supports the line of business owners and SMEs for the development of Business Continuity, Incident, and Crisis Management plans that successfully attain required resiliency strategies and recovery time objectives· Executes business resiliency related projects, including superior PMBOK methodology application for preparation of status reports, risk, issue management, and change project methodologies· Supports the implementation emergency response, business resiliency, and crisis management awareness and training to all stakeholder audience groups · Conducts plan quality reviews ensuring adherence to Aetna standards and resiliency readiness· Assists in the coordination of the integrated exercising of plans, serves as exercise facilitator and performs lessons learned process including emergency response drills· Performs due diligence of supplier assessments for external resiliency plans, exercises, and approval of contractual obligations· Ensures all resiliency plans are coordinated with requirements and capabilities of our Disaster Recovery program· Supports 24/7 business resiliency and crisis event response · Maintains resiliency policies and standards · Supports administration of the resiliency tools· Exhibits the following Business Resiliency Consulting Services Behaviors Background/Experience Desired· A BA or BS degree required; an advanced degree in a related field preferred · Minimum of 2-4 years of expert level experience in Business Continuity and Crisis Management· Strong interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, facilitation, and communication (both verbal and written) skills, as well as the working knowledge of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery · Ability to work and collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and partners across all levels of the organization · Supports working relationships with diverse groups of individuals and functions, both internal and external key stakeholders including governmental agency partners worldwide• Independent self-starter with the ability to participate in multiple complex projects simultaneously · Ability to adhere to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form including swim lanes and SIPOC· MNC on call, crisis event support experience for all-hazards required· Demonstrated understanding and execution of Business Continuity and Crisis Management internal processes and procedures at a health care company or equivalent including fundamental industry best practice knowledge of NFPA1600, ISO 22301, NIST, DRII, BCI GPG, FFIEC, NIMS ICS, DHS FEMA All-Hazards, and ITIL · Ability to coordinate response, recovery and lessons learned activities with remediation strategy during and after a crisis event· Analytical, critical thinking, and consulting services skills with the ability to efficiently support multiple projects simultaneously to a successful completion · Emergency Notification System, Business Resiliency, and Crisis Management tool administration support experience required• Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Visio and Project· Emergency Notification System, Business Resiliency, and Crisis Management tool support administration Education and Certification Requirements• Undergraduate degree with 2-4 years relevant experience in business resiliency, emergency response, and crisis management; disaster recovery experience a plus• Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) DRII required; CBCP level certification a plus
