POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for setting the strategic direction and oversight of the NQM Clinical Operational Excellence - Clinical Performance Team. Leads quality efforts across the clinical enterprise and is a champion for continuous process improvement. This position will work closely with the Business Integrity Team to promote a culture of compliance and excellence.

Fundamental Components:

The Director Healthcare QM will provide leadership to a team of Managers, Audit, and Training & Quality Clinicians to drive quality and performance excellence.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5 to 7 years clinical and/or managed care experience in the healthcare industry and quality management. Previous experience that reflects a proven track record or proficiency in the competencies noted. Previous experience managing staff Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple functional business objectives. Demonstrated verbal/written communication and computer skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Nursing/Registered Nurse is required

Project Management / Six Sigma is desired
