Aetna Small Group Business Sales Representative in Atlanta, Georgia

Candidate is responsible for selling new Small Group business medical and ancillary lines. Promotes Aetnas products and services and strategically aligns the appropriate programs to meet the customers needs.

Fundamental Components:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Meets assigned sales, retention and profitability objectives and seeks opportunities for profitable growth. Draws from entire spectrum of product line and seeks opportunities to execute cross-sell strategies and add other lines of business. Oversees the enrollment, education and engagement in Aetnas products and services. Coordinates resources to ensure a successful case installation of new products and services. Conducts on-site presentations to brokers/consultants to educate and inform on Aetnas product array Maintains knowledge and expertise in all products, programs, services and competitors. Effectively articulates and demonstrates Aetnas capabilities and tools in the marketplace. Thoroughly analyzes and reviews reports and utilization in order to consult with customers, implement appropriate interventions and drive mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and Aetna. Participates in Broker/Community activities to promote Aetna.


Bachelors degree required; 6-8+ years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of: underwriting, healthcare products, wellness, sales practices, strategic planning, account management and administrative operations Strong presentation skills Strong relationship-building skills Travel 25-50% required.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
