POSITION SUMMARY

This position is dedicated to the State of Alaska in support of their members. The person that fills this role will perform special projects related to implementation, plan administration, wellness coordination, open enrollment activities, benefit fairs, member educations, research and escalated issues. The primary function of this role is to perform customer service for the members on a daily basis, to include phone meetings as well as face to face interaction.

Fundamental Components:

Qualifying Requests Cultivate critical relationships(field sales) Assess customer needs and expectations vs. Health capabilities/strategy Determine exceptions and resource commitments Negotiate appropriate Aetna response. Claim evaluation Expense calculation Training of other employees

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

Face-to-face Customer Service experience required

MS Office experience, including Excel and PowerPoint highly preferred

Healthcare/Insurance experience preferred

Professional office experience highly preferred

Experience/Excellent Communication Skills

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
