Position Summary

The ACS Provider Marketing Manager will work with both the ACS and Joint Venture Business Leaders to advance Aetna's position as a thought-leader in the area of value-based care. Supports Aetna's vision 2020 of achieving 75% of all medical spend being under value-based network arrangements.The ACS Provider Marketing Manager provides strategic expertise related to their aligned Markets, Segments, and functions in support of the development and execution of marketing strategies and go-to-market plans that will drive member acquisition and retention. This role strengthens Aetna s brand by setting strategy to develop customer segmentation and targeting capabilities that expand our business while building trust and loyalty with our members. Product Marketing translates to what our products do for our customers into relevant value propositions that compel them to act.Key Responsibilities:Directs all activities relating to ACS Thought Leadership, Care Transformation & ProviderMarketing Develops value proposition messaging across all audiences to attract ACO/JV prospects and advance current clients Develops and strives for continual improvement of VBC content, proof points, assets, websiteAccountable for the marketing strategy development of all initiatives to support thought leadership, industry presentations, panels, round tables Develops communications around care transformation modelValue propositionAggregates local market and competitor insights, white-space opportunities, health marketing priorities, and multi-cultural opportunities as input to Marketing StrategyDevelop market facing pitch experienceExecutes integrated & localized data driven campaigns that deepens market presenceDevelop contentCoordinates the activation of marketing programs with In-House agency, driven by business consultation and resulting local/regional marketing requestsInform member and provider engagement strategyAccountable for the development of the market local Marketing strategy per line of business through consultative influence using data and deep marketing experience. Measure and continuously improveIntegrates data and analytics to create frames of reference to evaluate relative attractiveness and risks of marketing opportunities and threats - Informs strategies for acquisition and retentionBackground/Qualifications:· 10 years of strategic marketing experience: e.g., develop audience segmentations, core value propositions, messaging strategy for different segments, direct creative teams, measure impact and efficacy of marketing investments, etc.· Digital savvy: The ability to understand not just digital channels from an execution standpoint, but how digital informs and can sometimes transform the products we offer. · Desire to innovative: A desire to innovate and appropriately disrupt business-as-usual. We are looking for new models more than optimization of existing models so this requires a mix intellectual curiosity and practicality to think of new ways to market and deliver tangible results. · Data- and results-driven marketer; Shapes content & strategy according to experience with direct to consumer (DTC) or business to business to consumer (B2B2C) best practices in both digital and traditional channels· Team leadership and collaboration: Must be able to demonstrate ability to work within and across lines of business in fast paced, start-up like environment.· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including listening and ability to explain complex ideas and technologies, and writing and presenting formal presentations.
