POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna is looking for passionate, energetic and driven Account Supervisors who consistently strengthen client relationships, always add value to the conversation and know how to motivate and energize their teams. The Account Supervisor will manage a team of Account Managers and Junior Account Managers to service internal clients, provide strategic counsel and assist in business development. The AS understands Aetnas strategic objectives, exhibits deep business line knowledge and displays marketing expertise to guide clients to the most appropriate and innovative marketing and digital solutions. The AS must work collaboratively with Project Managers, the Creative Team and other internal support areas to ensure the best end results for clients. The AS must be a strategic thinker and possess the ability to bring new ideas to clients, exceed project objectives, and keep to company objectives and vision.

Fundamental Components:

The Account Supervisor at Aetna oversees account management for a set of accounts, and reports to the Director of Account Services. The Account Supervisor is a polished communicator, strategic, and provides continuous business leadership. You will be responsible for the growth and driving of all aspects of marketing needs for various clients.

In your role you will also:

Oversee client relationships on all accounts in your vertical while working with the Director of Account Services to monitor health and growth of the agency's accounts.

Leads, manages and collaborates with, and inspires account and creative teams to consistently deliver work that is creative, on strategy and on time.

Assist leadership in creating and instilling best practices in account services

Act as a mentor and leader for Account Executives and Jr. Account Executives, including identifying appropriate training opportunities for department and individuals.

Lead day-to-day oversight of multiple programs and team members through proactive planning, program structure development and implementation, effective delegation and coordination of agency resources

Provides forecasting insight to the Director, Account Service so that agency principals and department leads can anticipate resource support

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Is an ambassador for the marketing department objectives and point of view on the Companys brand and its visual and verbal brand identity

Minimum of eight years of professional level experience; at least five of which are in account management role either in an external or internal agency

Bachelors degree required. Preferably in marketing, communications, advertising or business

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
