Aetna Community Relations Manager in Tucson, Arizona

POSITION SUMMARY

The Community Relations Manager will report to the Director of Community Relations and be responsible for helping to develop and fulfill strategic community related goals. This position is also tasked with building and maintaining relationships of trust with community partners.

Fundamental Components:

Serve as a liaison with community partners to enhance the companys reputation in the community

Fulfill sponsorship benefits for community partnerships

Attend sponsored events and coordinate appropriate materials for distribution

Submit and Track sponsorships in compliance with state contract requirements

Maintain sponsorship records and manage invoicing/payments

Manage internal and external volunteer opportunities

Develop and manage workplace culture events and other internal initiatives

Facilitate employee engagement activities

Facilitate at all employee meetings, including participation on planning committee

Participate on the Aetna Volunteer Council

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Ability to build relationships of trust in the community

Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Proven communication skills both written and verbal

Past positions required acting a project lead

Solid Project Management and time management skills

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
