Top Medicare sales leadership position accountable for the development of and execution on sales strategies to achieve new sales and membership growth goals for the St. Louis Market. Position will provide direction and oversight to a team covering eastern Missouri and south central Illinois.

Fundamental Components:

Accountable for developing sales strategy and execution to achieve new member sales and membership growth goals for the Eastern Missouri and South Central Illinois Market. Recruit, train & retain a diverse workforce and engages/develops through mentoring, coaching and making available tools and resources. Develop & manage effective member acquisition/product distribution strategies including the use of independent agents (Brokers). Leadership & decision making ensuring compliant & business appropriate management of sales channel. Oversees Medicare direct response marketing to drive leads for the Medicare Sales organization based on ROI driven campaigns. Directs sales and marketing analyses and reporting in support of departmental and Senior Management level decision making. Ensures all sales activities and initiatives are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.


Minimum of 10 years health insurance industry sales experience, preferably in managed care. Demonstrated track record of successful Medicare sales experience, preferably with Medicare Advantage products. Minimum of 5 years sales management experience. Knowledge of regulations and statutes impacting the Medicare business. Excellent communication, presentation and analytic skills.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
