Supports comprehensive coordination of medical services including intake, screening and referrals to Aetna Medical Service Programs. Promotes/supports quality effectiveness of Healthcare Services within a structured high volume Call Center environment. INBOUND CALL CENTER-NO OUTBOUND CALLS.
Provide comprehensive healthcare management to facilitate delivery of appropriate quality healthcare, promote cost effective outcomes and improve program/operational efficiency involving clinical issues.
Experience in a high volume Inbound call center. Medical assistant, office assistant or other clinical experience. Effective communication, telephonic and organization skills. Strong Customer Service background Medical Terminology a plus. Strong computer skills. Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously to search out information
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.

Strong customer service skills are required with clear, articulate speech. Prior customer service experience in a fast paced call center environment is preferred. Strong computer skills with experience in a Windows environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding a plus. The candidate should possess the ability to ask appropriate questions and handle difficult situations as necessary. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to change and be comfortable in a fast paced, structured environment. Ability to be a team player and work cooperatively. Excellent attendance and punctuality is essential.
