POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the CMO and medical management department. Reports to the CMO. Provides a wide variety of general administrative support for managers or department. Composes routine correspondence, compiles data for routine reports, file maintenance, answer telephones and coordinates calendar. Supports the new hire onboarding process and other manager delegated tasks as assigned.

Fundamental Components:

Screens telephone calls, answers routine questions and furnishes information(*)

Opens, sorts, distributes, scans, organizes, prioritizes and responds to mail

Coordinates calendars; scheduling meetings, room reservations, hospitality arrangements(*)

Operates and maintains various office equipment(*)

Orders and maintains office supplies

Significant portion of duties may be in support of basic technical discipline (e.g., sales, underwriting, network, etc.)(*)

Organizes and maintains files of supervisor's correspondence, records etc. following up on pending matters(*)

Coordinates land and air travel arrangements

Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate software(*)

May be a manager delegate for UltiPro and HR related tasks.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 1 year of administrative or technical support experience; RequiredHealthcare, medical, managed care background/experience; Strongly PreferredStrong organization and communication skills; RequiredProficient with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint; and strong keyboard navigation skills; RequiredAbility to travel to satellite office in W. Sacramento as neededEDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
