The position is an office-based position and can be located any of the following Aetna offices: Sugar Land, Austin, San Antonio, or Dallas TX.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Director of Sales and Service is dedicated to the TRS account which is a 600,000 member group located in Austin, TX. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and strategy and retention of this membership. The Sr. DSS has a dedicated staff of 5 team members and reports to the Market Head of Sales and Service for TX and OK in the Public and Labor Segment.

Fundamental Components:

100% dedicated to the TRS customer whose administrative team is located in Austin, TX.

Provide the leadership and support to a dedicated account team that serves TRS.

Responsible for any new or retention RFP for TRS.

Accountable for the financial results and growth of the customer while delivering best in class service.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelor's Degree or higher required

Management experience preferred

Minimum of 10 years experience in the health industry

Excellent communication skills with experience in addressing groups in a public setting

Successful history of leading a team to excelling in sales and/or service results

Experienced in setting strategy and implementing for results

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired
