Aetna Medicare Broker Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Responsible for the sales of Aetna Medicare Advantage products through various channels in Laredo, Harlingen and Brownsville.
This position is for the Rio Grande Valley but strictly the cities of Laredo, Brownsville and Harlingen. This will be a WAH position but the applicant MUST reside in this area.
Responsible for the sales of Aetna Medicare Advantage products through the broker channel. - Prospect for, evaluates & identifies brokers to sell Medicare products. - Proactively builds & maintains positive broker relationships. - Administers broker licensing, training, testing & recertification through face-to-face individual meetings, group meetings & web-based resources. - Monitors compliance with state, federal & health plan regulatory requirements. - Responsible for administration & tracking of all broker activities. - Manages lead programs. - Coordinate response to broker related complaints. - Investigates, documents and retrain brokers when necessary. - Performs other duties as required.
Prefer 1-3 years of sales and/or broker sales experience required. Sales management experience preferred. Candidate must be proficient using Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to prepare and execute a basic business plan. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
