POSITION SUMMARY

This position serves as a product manager primarily supporting Medicity Organize, our Community Hub and Community Interchange software application. The application consists of solutions to support improved quality and more efficient delivery of care across providers, health systems and payers via Interop based connectivity.

Fundamental Components:

You will be a domain expert and act as a resource on features, operation and application of the software. You are responsible for researching and responding to software enhancement requests and creating functional requirement documentation and user stories for the design of new feature functionality. You are the voice of the business, voice of the client and voice of the industry requirements. A key part of your role will rely upon your ability to engage with new and existing clients to deeply understand their business needs.

You will be a key player working with the scrum teams during the development process. In addition, you will serve as a liaison between other internal stakeholders, including support, sales, marketing, and implementations to manage and drive to successful productization of the feature(s). Experience in working within an agile environment is required.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform analysis of new business requirements and translate these ideas into product-specific designs/ detailed requirement definitions and use cases. Effectively engaging clients and other resources to ensure the solution will meet their needs.

Work on scrum teams during the software development process to execute on the roadmap, ensuring the scope and design of the solution meets the clients needs.

Manages the product lifecycle activities.

Provide internal training to appropriate internal staff such as client services, support, marketing and sales during the development process to ensure they are knowledgeable on the new functionality. Permitting these teams to deliver on their own plans needed in the release of the new feature(s).

Drive productization of the solution, working with internal teams and early adopter clients. Assisting in effective use of the solution and building successful reference clients.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Health care industry knowledge required

Excellent documentation skills, including creating functional requirements documents, use cases, and high level design documents required

Solid interpersonal skills. Will be required to work closely within a team and collaborate with other teams within the organization

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
