POSITION SUMMARY

This position serves as a Product Owner primarily supporting the Medicity Organize platform. This consists of solutions to support improved quality and more efficient delivery of care across providers, health systems and payers. You will be a domain expert and act as a resource on features, operation and application of the software. You are responsible for researching and creating functional requirement documentation and user stories for the design of new feature functionality. A key part of your role will rely upon your ability to engage with new and existing clients to deeply understand their business needs.

You will be a key player working with the scrum teams during the development process. In addition, you will serve as a liaison between other internal stakeholders, including support, sales, marketing, and implementations to manage and drive to successful commercialization of the feature(s). Experience in working within an agile environment is required.

Responsibilities Include:· Perform analysis of new business requirements and translate these ideas into product-specific designs/ detailed requirement definitions and use cases. Effectively engaging clients and other resources to ensure the solution will meet their needs. · Work on scrum teams during the software development process to execute on the roadmap, ensuring the scope and design of the solution meets the client s needs.· Provide internal training to appropriate internal staff such as client services, support, marketing and sales during the development process to ensure they are knowledgeable on the new functionality. Permitting these teams to deliver on their own plans needed in the release of the new feature(s).

Desired Skills: · 3 years minimum experience in commercialized software a must· Health care industry knowledge required· Practical experience with data structures, data bases and l APIs preferred.· Excellent documentation skills, including creating functional requirements documents, use cases, and high level design documents required· Solid interpersonal skills. Will be required to work closely within a team and collaborate with other teams within the organization· Able to handle conflict, difficult situations, and urgent issues in a professional manner· Strong customer service skills keeping “customer satisfaction as a guiding factor· Maintain a thorough understanding of quality, schedule, revenue and cost, and of the impact of these areas on the product development process· Self-motivated and tenacious when tackling issues. Able to work with limited supervision, adhering to overall department and company procedures· Strong organizational skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years product management experience in a commercialized solution.

Participation with client meetings and conferences 15% travel is required.
